Summer Vacation

“I will go to camp in the forest
where the forest animals dwell.
I will go to the beach to swim,
and try to find a fine shell.

“I will go to an amusement park
to ride on the Ferris wheel.
I will go to eat dessert
and maybe a KFC meal.

“I will also go fishing
and have the fish for dinner.
Or play games with all my friends,
and see who’d be the winner.”

“Oh no, you won’t be able to do that,”
My school teacher said,
“I’ll be giving you loads of homework,
so, do your homework instead.”
