Captain Hook – A Poem

By Gloson On December 3, 2012 No Comments

The big old pirate,
Captain Hook,
was such a clumsy,
funny crook.

And when the huge beast
bit his wrist,
his hand fell off; he
clenched his fist.

And sometimes, when you
go to town,
you can still hear him
beg around:

”I beg you, mister
gentleman.
Oh please, will you give
me a hand?”

Last Week, A Little Dog Chased Me – A Poem

By Gloson On December 3, 2012 No Comments

Last week, a little dog chased me.
I ran as quickly as could be.
It chased me all around the place
to pounce on me and lick my face!

He chased me through the dirty street
just like a capable athlete.
He chased me through the pretty park.
I hurried home for it was dark.

Towards my house I quickly ran.
I suddenly thought of a plan.
I lured the dog into a cage;
It fled and got into a rage.

The dog ran into my mom’s room
and broke my mom’s vase and her broom.
It shed its fur on my mom’s bed.
Now my mom’s chasing me instead!

While Strolling Through the Park One Day – A Poem

By Gloson On December 2, 2012 3 Comments

While strolling through the park one day,
I saw a bench not far away.
I sat on it and had a sleep.
What woke me was my cell phone beep.

It was an SMS from Paul.
It read, “Please meet me at the mall,”
I stretched my leg and then my toe
and then I made a choice to go.

I tried to stand but I was stuck.
I guess I didn’t have much luck.
I saw a sign. I almost fainted.
The sign read: This bench is just painted.
